New all-time high record of physical activities on Street Tag
Last weekend, families on the Street Tag app smashed the all-time high of the number of virtual tags collected through Street Tag in a 24 hours period. To put this milestone into perspective, just before lockdown 1 in England, the highest number of virtual tags collected in a 24 hours period was 20,000. This drastically dropped down for a couple of weeks to approx 3500 tags daily at the start of lockdown 1. As families started to fully come to terms with the shock of lockdown 1 and with clarification of an hour's worth of daily exercise allowed, the number of virtual tags started to pick up once again, illustrating the intent of families gaining confidence to be back outdoors being physically active, it took months to get back to the previous high and not till the lockdown 1 was over. Along with our community, we have had to adapt through the lockdown especially in supporting families to keep moving and active indoors. With a better understanding of how to navigate lockdown 2 safely, families on the Street Tag have set a new all-time record of 64,000 tags collected this November.
Well done to all our Street Tag team, our partners, stakeholders, and the incredible families that believe enough in using and trusting Street Tag for their daily active travel plans.
