JD - Community Engagement

JD - Community Engagement

About the Project

Street Tag is a family friendly initiative that rewards families and individuals for their physical activities such as walking, running, cycling, among a host of other fitness activities. We bring people together to participate in outdoor physical activities, by turning streets into a giant virtual playground, and increasing their outdoor experiences. Our app can also be used for indoor activities.

Street Tag has been engaged by the Basildon Local Delivery Pilot team to implement an active lifestyle programme for the residents of Basildon. The partnership will help to turn the less physically active communities (in the targeted areas) to be more active by getting families to spend more time outdoors taking part in physical activities, driving community engagement and maintaining positive mental health.
