LETTER TO OUR STREET TAG COMMUNITY

I was waiting for our whole team to have our end of year review and celebration party today before sharing an update with you. We had a fun blast over zoom, as we all shared highlights and learning for the year. We then discussed plans for the next year 2021, some of which we would like to share in this update.

Just before I get into the details, I would like to mention that our goal has always been to give a "REMARKABLE experience" to our customers... Some users experience very little bugs on the app while others experienced quite a few. While we can't change the past and app bugs instantly, what we do want is to change part of the present and ultimately the future. If there's anything we can do to get a little smile out of you, always send a message to let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate them.

From our observations, feedback, and interactions with the community this year, the app performance is much better compared to where we were before the last app update (at the end of November). Although there are still some niggling bugs, which means we are not satisfied yet and will not be relaxing until all bugs are ironed out. We will be having an update in early January of what we have been working on this December.

Furthermore, we shall focus on the plans below for Q1 and Q2 2021, copied from our end of the year review and plans.

Street Tag Q1 / Q2 2021 plans

In 2021, there will be a cash incentive for the engineering team each month that we stay above 4 stars ratings on both the app store and play store.

JANUARY will be spent on developing the offline mode and improving the tagging experience, as well as the much-awaited NFC release.

FEBRUARY will be spent on Samsung Health and Huawei Health steps integration

The end of FEBRUARY and MARCH will be spent on School relay functionality for one of our partners, if all is finalised.

Q2

In APRIL we will replace the team QR code with the number digits in order to simplify the process of joining teams, improving the sign-up flow experience, and other ideas from the engineering team.

At management level, we are planning towards potentially splitting the engineering team into two - for two reasons, 1 to improve efficiency. 2 to mitigate and reduce the risk of there not being an engineer available to attend to issues during closing hours.

Our team's theme for 2021 that every team member is aiming to practice daily, live, and act by is... "If I was a Street Tag user, what remarkable experiences would I want to experience on the app and use"

This is to support us in building more empathy into our work and building the type of beautiful experience that we would like and enjoy as well as others.

All of the above is our intent and plans for 2021. More than likely our timeline above will be off by a week or a month. We have a fair clarity on the areas that we need to improve on, our challenge will be ensuring that we are focused and disciplined to execute the plans in the two quarters of 2021. We would like our Street Tag community to come on this journey with us, be patient with us, and continue to support us through the process. We will keep being available to go above and beyond to support the community and keep listening to your feedback.

Thank you for your kindness and support in 2020, it has been a privilege seeing so many of you in the community stepping up your physical activities and maintaining an active lifestyle. We look forward to making your active experiences feel more fun and playful in 2021.

We would also like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all our partners that have trusted us and believed in what we are building with the community. SPECIAL THANK YOU to... Tom, Emma, Jacquie, Gurnam, Maya, Martel, Alison, Partick, Alex, Andy, Grant, Jo, Suzie, Louise, Rosie, Sport Tech Hub, London Sport, Badminton England, London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Council, Active Essex, London Borough Hounslow, Cherwell District Council, Oxfordshire County Council, London Borough of Redbridge Council, and London Borough of Kingston.
