STREET TAG PLANNED ACTIVITIES AND FEATURES FOR JANUARY / FEBRUARY / MARCH 2023
Hello Street Taggers; we trust you're having a wonderful time getting physically fit, having fun, and racking up the points on the leaderboard. Below is the list of activities planned for the first quarter of the year to help you get the most out of the app and have fun doing exercises you love.
1. The list of the next monthly Saturday Tag Parties at a park in your borough/district has been pinned at the top of our Facebook page and can be accessed here. Please Note - At 10:30 am on Saturday Tag Party days, you need to click the "Download Tags" button on the mid-right side of the app's map on the home screen; this will ensure that you have all the latest Saturday Tag Party tags on your app within the vicinity of the park. Also, the tags are stored locally on your device; therefore, you must be in online mode to use the DOWNLOAD TAG button at 10:30 am and 11 am on Saturday Tag Party days to refresh your local tags.
We will add one special tag with the value of 6000 points to the pre-announced parks on tag party days. However, the special tag will only be available between 10:30 am and 11:00 am.
2. In 2023, if for any reason you cannot visit your town's listed park for a Saturday Tag Party, do not worry; we've got you covered. You can take advantage of the #TagPartySelfie in any park nearby. And send us your #TagPartySelfie with your username to claim 2000 bonus points. Do not send an old picture; you must take a new selfie on Saturday, Tag Party day. All selfie entries must be sent ONLY to support@streettag.co.uk, to our Facebook Inbox, or by raising a support ticket through the app menu > settings. The #TagPartySelfie bonus points are open to everyone on Street Tag only on the Tag Party Saturday dates. Please, when sending in your selfies, also send in your username, leaderboard name, and local authority name.
3. The PRIZE DRAW for December/January bi-monthly draw will be taking place on February 9th at 7 pm. The winners will be announced on our Facebook page.
4. Street Tag Relay
In January 2023 we will launch the Street Tag Relay; we will have physical Batons branded with locationless QR codes and distributed to schools. For this relay, the baton will be loaded with 5000 points for each user.
To earn the 5000 points, user A will need to scan the baton and then pass it on to user B; user A will ONLY receive the 5000 points once it is passed on to user B and user B scans the baton. Then user B will ONLY receive the 5000 points when user B passes the baton to user C to scan the baton. And on and on, it goes for a month relay. So to unlock your 5000 points, you must do two things: pass the baton to another user, and the user must scan the baton before you get your points. And this fun cycle continues.
5. Valentine's Day is Just Around the Corner! That can only mean #Amileforlove is back! Walk, run or cycle a mile with your loved ones on Valentine's day. Your chosen loved one(s) to be your wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend, daughter, son, grandma, grandpa, friend, etc.
Send a picture of you with your loved one(s) on your walk, run or cycle and a screenshot of the distance you covered to marketing@streettag.co.uk with your username and that of your loved one(s) in the picture. The subject should be #Amileforlove, your leaderboard name, and LA name. and we will credit each of you with 2000 bonus points. Please allow up to five (2) days for your bonus to be credited. The deadline to send in your entry is February 16th.
All you need is love... and 2000 points for everyone!

6. Street Tag Lamppost Stickers
We want to add some more physical interactions into Street Tag and have a more value add visual presence on the streets for Taggers to interact with and for residents not yet on Street Tag to discover the app. There should be a Street Tag lamp post sticker in your LA as of 13th February if we have permission.
7. Street Tag Playing Cards (Starts 28th February)
Monthly/Quarterly in 2023, we will release a bunch of new card sets (with QR codes on them). They will be distributed and hidden across the different districts we operate, such as hanging on tree branches or hidden between school reading books or inside local libraries, for local people to find them.
To keep the momentum and fun going, we will provide the exact locations of some of the cards and clues to get the what3words locations of the cards.
As a Tagger, your goal with this activity is to find 7 cards to activate 9000 power-up bonus points. Every 7 cards that you redeem gives you 9000 power-up bonus points. If you find and scan the card first, you get e.g. 3000 points, and when 4 others scan your card, they get only half ( e.g. 1500) of the points. After 5 people have scanned the card, it will expire.
Different cards can give you different power-up bonus point values e.g. 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, and 10000 rare cards.
Each card bonus will be represented or branded with individual fruit types.
Once your cards have expired, you can return them to Street Tag or to one of our partners for a picture opportunity for our social media pages and claim additional bonus points.
In the app's Playground, there will be a section for Street Tag Playing Cards, with a beautiful design of your card collection stack counts e.g. total number of banana cards, the total number of grape cards, etc.
8. Triple and Triple Wheel Fortune! (20th to 31st March)
All the HOUSE PolyTags on Street Tag will be tripled to 900 points for a week.
Be smart, set your Power Hour to triple the triple PolyTag, and earn 2700 points.
9. Street Tag brings a fun opportunity for families to participate in the Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel Week and earn 2000 bonus points.
Get active outdoors on your bikes and scooters!
Send us your WHEELFIE (selfie with Wheels) between 20th to 31st March 2023 to claim 2000 points ONCE.
Please note: All entries must be sent ONLY to marketing@streettag.co.uk with the username, leaderboard, LA name, and #Wheelfie in the subject.
Please allow up to 2 days for your bonus to be credited.
