STREET TAG PLANNED ACTIVITIES AND FEATURES FOR JANUARY / FEBRUARY / MARCH 2024
Hello Street Taggers; we trust you're having a wonderful time getting physically fit, having fun, and racking up the points on the leaderboard. Below is the list of activities planned for the first quarter of the year to help you get the most out of the app and have fun doing exercises you love!
1. The list of the next monthly Saturday Tag Parties at a park in your borough/district has been pinned at the top of our Facebook page and can be accessed here. Please Note - At 10:30 am on Saturday Park Bonus days, you need to click the "Download Tags" button on the mid-right side of the app's map on the home screen; this will ensure that you have all the latest Saturday Park Bonus tags on your app within the vicinity of the park. Also, the tags are stored locally on your device; therefore, you must be in online mode to use the DOWNLOAD TAG button at 10:30 am and 11 am on Saturday Park Bonus days to refresh your local tags.
We will add one unique tag with a value of 6000 points to the pre-announced parks on Park Bonus days. However, the unique tag will only be available between 10:30 am and 11:00 am.
In 2024, if you cannot visit your town's listed park for a Saturday Park Bonus, do not worry; we've got you covered. You can take advantage of the #ParkBonusSelfie in any park nearby. And send us your #ParkBonusSelfie with your username to claim 2000 bonus points. Do not send an old picture; you must take a new selfie on Saturday, Park Bonus Day. All selfie entries must be sent ONLY to support@streettag.co.uk, to our Facebook Inbox, or by raising a support ticket through the app menu > settings. The #ParkBonusSelfie bonus points are open to everyone on Street Tag only on the Park Bonus Saturday dates. Please, when sending in your selfies, also send in your username, leaderboard name, and local authority name.
2. The PRIZE DRAW for the December/January bi-monthly draw will be taking place on February 9th at 7 pm. The winners will be announced on our Facebook page.
3. Valentine's Day is just around the corner! That can only mean #Amileforlove is back! Walk, run or cycle a mile with your loved ones on Valentine's Day. Your chosen loved one(s) to be your wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend, daughter, son, grandma, grandpa, friend, etc.
Send a picture of you with your loved one(s) on your walk, run or cycle and a screenshot of the distance you covered to support@streettag.co.uk with your username and that of your loved one(s) in the picture. The subject should be #Amileforlove, your leaderboard name, and LA name. and we will credit each of you with 2000 bonus points. Please allow up to five (2) days for your bonus to be credited. The deadline to send in your entry is February 16th.
All you need is love... and 2000 points for everyone!

4. Street Tag Lamppost Stickers
We want to add some more physical interactions into Street Tag and have a more valuable visual presence on the streets for Taggers to interact with and for residents still waiting to be added to Street Tag to discover the app. There should be a Street Tag lamp post sticker in your LA as of 13th February if we have permission.
5. Triple and Triple Wheel Fortune! (20th to 31st March)
All the HOUSE PolyTags on Street Tag will be tripled to 900 points for a week. Be smart, set your Power Hour to triple the triple PolyTag, and earn 2700 points.
6. Street Tag brings a fun opportunity for families to participate in the Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel Week and earn 2000 bonus points. Get active outdoors on your bikes and scooters! Send us your WHEELFIE (selfie with Wheels) between the 4th to 22nd of March 2024 to claim 2000 points ONCE.
Please note: All entries must be sent ONLY to support@streettag.co.uk with the username, leaderboard, LA name, and #Wheelfie in the subject. Please allow up to 2 days for your bonus to be credited.

7. Some Easter holiday fun! Send us your #SelfieWithEasterBunny outdoor picture once during the Easter holiday, 25th March to 6th April, with your username and leaderboard name, LA name to claim a 1000 points bonus. ONLY send it to support@streettag.co.uk and allow up to 3 days before your bonus is added.
8. Street Tag Virtual Easter Costume Contest!
Taggers are encouraged to dress up in Easter-themed costumes. Take a photo. Share your best photo and short videos of your costumes. Send to support@streettag.co.uk. There’ll be an online Voting on Street Tag Facebook page.

Q1 and Q2 2024 Park Bonus Dates and Venues
This is the list of the upcoming Saturday Park Bonus Parks for January, February, March, April, May, and June 2024.
The Saturday Park Bonus in the park is worth 6,000 points at the pre-selected park monthly. You only have to look out for 1 of the 6k points tag, plus collect the standard tags in the park if available.
Send a selfie of you in the park to claim 2,000 bonus points at the latest 72 hours after the Park Bonus day. Use #SelfiePark when sending your selfie, and include the username, Leaderboard name, and Local Authority name.
The tag will only be available for 30 minutes at the parks below between 10:30 - 11:00 a.m.
At 10:30 a.m. on the Park Bonus day, please click the "Download Tags" button on the mid-right side of the app's map on the home screen. This will ensure that you have all the latest Saturday Park Bonus tags on your app within the vicinity of the park.
Tags are stored locally on your device, so you must be in online mode and use the DOWNLOAD TAG button at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday and at 11 a.m. on Saturday to refresh your local tags.
PS: It will not be possible to set Power Hour on the app during the Park Bonus. Power Hour is blocked between 9:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Previously, it was only blocked between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. However, due to the enablement of quarterly power hour that we made to the app recently, we have to extend the block period. This is to ensure the users visiting the parks on Park Bonus Saturdays do not accumulate an even higher point score beyond what is already a high score for the Park Bonus. Power Hour is impossible between 9:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturdays.
