Complete the form below to join the Street Tag Secondary Schools Leaderboard.

Street Tag is exceptional at bringing together the whole school students remotely, including the School staff to be physically active, by turning their individual streets into a virtual playground, to increase their outdoor experience in walking, running, and cycling more to earn rewards.

During the Street Tag experience, participants record their distance walked, ran or cycled by collecting virtual tags with their smartphone at various locations, watching their total distance accumulate to climb up your Secondary Schools leaderboard, creating competition, being physically active, connecting with green spaces, an opportunity to rediscovering their area, having healthy competitive fun and earning prizes.

We are delighted that Secondary Schools can now have a Street Tag Schools Leaderboard. Your School will have a dedicated leaderboard of its own in the form of year groups vs year groups and vs teachers/staff physical activities competition within your school. E.g. Year 7a will have a team of their own, Year 7b will have a team of their own, Year 8a will have a team of their own, Year 8b will have a team of their own, Year 9a will have a team of their own, Year 10a will have a team of their own, the teachers can have a team of their own or be a part of the year group that they teach or lead respectively, and so on. The instruction guides on how the students and staff will join their respective teams will be provided to you by the Street Tag team.

In the future, we will be making it possible for your secondary school team to collectively compete against other secondary schools in physical activities. This format already exists for the primary school but not for secondary schools.

Join:

  • 15,000+ active families 150+ active schools

  • 2,000,000+ active miles traveled by walking, running, and cycling

  • 60,000+ daily virtual tags collected outdoors by families

  • 11,000,000+ daily steps by families

HOW IT WORKS (FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS)

1. Virtual tags are placed in popular walking routes and areas with green space to encourage physical activities, this virtual tags can be created by any users through their app.

2. Users walk, run or cycle to virtual tags that are placed on the app's home screen.

3. Tags are worth an average of 10 points per tag. Once users are near/within a 40-meter radius of a virtual tag, the user receives the points which helps the year group to move up the leaderboard.

4. At the end of the leaderboard seasons (resets every 12 - 14 weeks). The top teams are given performance bonus prizes, to be decided between the school and the Street Tag team. There will be various other prizes for the students during the running leaderboard seasons also.
