8 Million Steps So Far And Counting #StayInWorkOut
The taggers community challenged us to evolve and produce our best work in this lockdown to help families #StayInWorkOut. Before the lockdown, families on Street Tag were being physically active outdoors scanning 20,000+ virtual tags daily mainly across Barking and Dagenham, and Kingston. Since the lockdown, the outdoors activities has reduced to an average of 7,000 virtual tags scans daily. Less than 4 weeks ago we released an updated Street Tag app for families to #StayInWorkOut and participate in #StreetTagHomeActivities. This update included integration with third-party apps and devices to capture steps and auto-convert the steps into Street Tag points. We have been blown away by how well families have started to adjust to using Street Tag to #StayInWorkOut. We are delighted to share that 8+ million steps have been done since the Street Tag app update less than 4 weeks ago! in addition to the outdoor virtual tags. Well done everyone and we look forward to announcing the winner of the Fitbit giveaway in our Livestream coming up next week Tuesday at 7pm on Street Tag's Facebook page. We hope to encourage more families that are yet to join the #StreetTagHomeActivities, to join in. Gratitude to our partners at Ten Project, Kingston Council, Barking and Dagenham Council's Healthy Lifestyle Team, Dstyle Dance, Sport Tech Hub at London Sport. We are looking forward to collaborating with new partners and bringing more fun to physical activities outdoors and indoors for families everywhere.
